With Spring comes fairy gardens and this awesome Gumball Terrarium Fairy Garden is sure to brighten your home
If you don’t have a garden space outside to create a fairy garden, create one inside with this clever Gumball Terrarium Fairy Garden.
So easy to make too!
- A Small Pot & Saucer
- A Glass Terrarium or Glass Fish Bowl (Kmart have them currently for $9 – https://www.kmart.com.au/product/fish-bowl-vase)
- Succulent Plants
- Potting Mix
- Glue Gun
- Fairy garden Decorations
Turn the Pot upside-down and make a ring of glue on the base.
Place the terrarium / fish bowl on top. Then squeeze some glue onto the center of the saucer and put this on top of the terrarium / fish bowl. (use some masking tape to hold it in place until dry.)
When glue is set, you can start decorating your Fairy garden.
Firstly add some potting soil in the bottom and then arrange your plants where you’d like them, making sure their roots are fully covered with soil.
Then start adding your fairy garden decor.
Water your fairy garden plants sparingly – easy to use a spray bottle. And keep your Gumball Terrarium Fairy Garden in bight, indirect light.
IDEA… Instead of planting real plants in soil, you could use coloured aquarium sand or pebbles and use synthetic Aquarium plants (if you don’t “have a green thumb”)
IDEA… you could paint your Terrarium Fairy Garden pot….
